Who We Are
Welcome to the Youth Health & Education Literacy Programs Foundation
The Youth HELP Foundation, Inc., founded in 2021, is a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt nonprofit corporation registered in Florida and Virginia. We are a global charitable organization whose mandate is to support and empower vulnerable children and young people to maximize their potential by enabling equitable access to Health and Education Literacy Programs (HELP) and resources. Our Foundation provides grant funding to other nonprofit and civil society organizations to implement HELP programs and provide education resources to young people in keeping with our mandate.

Meet Our Board of Directors
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
Meet our dedicated leaders who guide the Youth HELP Foundation and ensure we stay true to our mission of empowering vulnerable children and youth. Our Board brings together a diverse group of individuals with expertise in education, health, community development, finance, and nonprofit leadership.
More than just decision-makers, our Board members are passionate advocates for equity, creativity, and opportunity. They share a commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability—ensuring that every program we support creates meaningful, lasting impact. With their vision, experience, and dedication, they help shape the future of the Foundation and the lives of the children we serve.
Why is YHF Different?
We take pride in empowering and giving hope to our children and young people to ensure their success as productive persons in societies. Our founders, Stuart Ewing and his parents Dr. Rufus Ewing, Dr. Dawn Perry-Ewing, are passionate about health and education literacy in children and young people because they have lived it and have seen the impact of early interventions. The YHF mobilizes financial resources through donations, fundraising events, and access to federal and other grants. We partner with nonprofits and CSOs to award grant funding and other resources for the implementation of youth HELP programs globally, particularly in small Caribbean island developing states (SIDS).
