Empowering Young Creators

The improvement in the delivery of acute health care services in low and middle income countries, in part due to the implementation of Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) approach, has resulted in a significant reduction in mortality in children under 5 years of age. However, concomitant with this is an increase in the number of children with developmental delays and learning disabilities, that often go undiagnosed.
Early diagnosis of developmental delays and disabilities in children under 5 years and their appropriate immediate intervention is critical to the future educational and life success of these children. The Youth HELP Foundation is committed to supporting programs and providing resources for the early detection and intervention of childhood developmental delays and learning disabilities. |
